History
Viking Collection Service, Inc. (Viking) is a nationwide privately held collection agency, established in 1969.  For 37
years the company has been at the forefront of the collection industry providing superior liquidation results for our 
clients in the areas of consumer primary bankcard debt, insurance subrogation, automobile deficiency and installment 
loans.  Viking has built the company on strong fundamental collection practices; offering experienced and innovative
solutions.  Our first and foremost goal is to insure that our clients recover the maximum dollar amount available with
every pursuit, and in the most cost effective manner.

a solid technology infrastructure, secure information policies, and over 35 years experience, Viking provides the level of

Technology
Viking uses state of the art technology designed to enhance the efficiency and integrity of the recovery processes.  We 
utilize Dell hardware and Collection Resource System (CRS) software, and are capable of accepting new business by 
hard copy, 9-track tape, PC to PC, or electronically through an FTP server.  Our system also accommodates off site
audits by our clients.  
 
Qualified Staff / Leadership
Viking has over 300 employees in Minnesota and Arizona.  Our Senior Management team averages over 15 years of 
experience within the financial industry.  Team Managers and Company Trainers average 12 years of experience within
the collection industry, and 10 years of employment with Viking.
 
Hours of Operation
All Viking Collectors are scheduled to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.  Our hours of operation 
include:  Sunday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

in the country.

Viking offers experience with a diverse range of installment s for loans.
 
Client Relations
Viking dedicates a team of Client Relation Specialists to work as a liaison between our Clients and the Collection
Representative staff, to insure ongoing communication if effective and efficient, to prepare and forward requested
information, and to administer a variety of other services.  To guarantee that our clients receive the highest level of 
customer care, each member of our Client Relations team is assigned to a specific Client.
 
Quality Control / Compliance
A systematic monitoring and tracking process has been established to insure that Viking’s practices are consistent 
with our clients’ compliance standards and Company guidelines.  We have a full-time staff member dedicated to 
monitoring and evaluating each Collection Representative with regards to FDCPA, urgency, tone of call, control of call, 
DUNN, as well as identify training and development needs.
 
Security
Viking has established Global Security Policies and Procedures to insure that Viking maintains a safe work 
environment, and an atmosphere that allows protection of inventory and other assets. 
 
Skip Tracing
To insure that delinquent files are updated accurately and quickly, Viking maintains a team of experienced Skip Tracers
to locate current phone numbers through creative search processes through the Internet.
 
Legal
Viking has established a reliable network of national attorneys that are licensed across the United States, and that can
handle any legal action.
