Gene Kloeckner- CEO
Mr. Kloeckner has served as the CEO of Viking Collection Service since its inception in 1969. Prior to starting Viking Collection Service, Inc. Mr. Kloeckner spent 4 years in the trust department at First National Bank of Minneapolis. Prior to that, Mr. Kloeckner worked as an audit manager for National Car Rental for 2 years and the previous 5 years as a collection manager for Fingerhut Corporations.
Cory Kloeckner- President
Mr. Kloeckner has worked at Viking Collection Service in a variety of positions for the past 14 years; serving the last 8 years as its President. Prior to joining Viking, he attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Airport Administration.
Tom Johnson- VP of Operations
Mr. Johnson has worked as the Vice President of Operations for Viking Collection Service, Inc. since April of 2000. Prior to joining Viking Collection Service, Inc. Mr. Johnson was a commercial lender for Voyager Bank, Eden Prairie and Excel Bank for 1997 through 1999. Mr. Johnson was a Branch President for MidAmerica Bank from 1994 through 1997. Prior to MidAmerica Bank Mr. Johnson held a variety of positions with First Bank System from 1987 through 1994. Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1987.
Dale Kopel- CFO
Mr. Kopel has served as Viking Collection Service, Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer since June 2006. Prior to joining Viking Collection Service, Inc, Mr. Kopel was the Treasurer of Merrill Corporation where he also held other financial leadership positions beginning in May of 1996. Mr. Kopel was a senior manager at Coopers & Lybrand where he began his career in 1986. Mr. Kopel graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University in July 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
