Viking Client Services has been around for 50 years.

50 years of serving our clients. 50 years of working with people to solve problems. 50 years of integrity, hard work, and leadership.

A company doesn’t stay in business for 50 years without a commitment to good work. While we’ve dealt with our share of bad publicity, with misstatements and misunderstandings about what we do and who we are, we’ve not been deterred in our efforts. We do good, honest work in a tough industry, and we remain committed to people and committed to good at each turn.

In the 50 years since we opened our doors, we’ve learned some things. We’ve also stayed true to some core principles and values.

We are Committed to Restoration

Some of the work that we do is working with people who need to reconcile a debt. Some of these people are actually in the process of collections. Some of them are simply being billed for damages to a rental car. Regardless of where they’re at in the process, we are committed to helping people restore their names and their credit by squaring up their accounts. We are also committed to working on behalf of our clients, so that they are paid for the money they’re owed.

Restoration is about how we do our work…and it’s about why we do it.

People deserve to be treated fairly; with dignity and respect, no matter who they are or what situation they’re in. We believe that the more we partner with people, empathizing with their situations, solving problems with them, and equipping them to take the right steps forward, the more likely we are to find workable solutions that last.

We are Committed to Leadership

From the technology and processes we use to the people we develop, we are committed to leadership. Sometimes that means that we ask our employees, who are on the front lines of the work that Viking does, to guide us. We let them point us toward what works and what doesn’t. Sometimes leadership means that we do what’s best, even if it’s not necessarily what’s always been done.

Leadership is about doing what’s right, even if it’s not easy.

In 50 years of work in this industry, we’ve learned a lot. We’ve learned from our employees and colleagues. We’ve learned from our competitors. We’ve learned from our successes as well as from mistakes. In all of it, we’ve discovered that leadership isn’t about being perfect, but about being smart. It’s about what you do, and it’s also about how you do it.

We are Committed to Trust

Trust is tricky. It takes years to earn and seconds to lose. It’s something you easily take for granted until you don’t have it. Then it’s the most important thing. For this reason, we have always made trust one of our biggest priorities. Our standards for how we treat our people, our customers, the sensitive data that we manage, and our industry are rooted in our commitment to trust. We want to earn it. We want to keep it.

We’ve discovered that trust is about more than just doing what you say you’re going to do. Trust is also about how you treat people and how flexible you are to their situation. It’s about how you deescalate a person who’s frustrated and how you equip a person to succeed. It’s about how you talk about who you are. It’s about

50 Years of Hard Work
The work we do isn’t easy. But the people we work with and the people we work for keep us driven. We’ve remained committed to restoration, trust, and leadership for half a century.
